My Wife Is 16 Weeks Pregnant
I’ve decided to start a weekly article about my wifes pregnancy. There seems to be quite a few guys out there looking for information about their wifes or girlfriends pregnancy. Hopefully I can help shed some light on the matter.
Not much has happened since week 15. My wife is entering into the None-of-my-clothes-fit phase. This makes for some stressful mornings around the house. Luckily she was able to find some clothes from Ann Taylor Loft that have helped ease the struggle in the mornings.

Here are some other interesting notes about your baby at 16 weeks:
- The baby is about 4 1/2 inches long
- The baby weighs about 3 1/2 ounces
- The heart pumps about 25 quarts of blood a day!

We will have the opportunity to find out the sex of the baby in 2 weeks. We found out what we were having with Olivia and we plan on doing the same for this baby. Having a baby is stressful enough and to me, there is no need to add any additional stress.
As soon as we find out if we are having a boy or girl we’ll start a baby name list. We will also be able to start planning the room.

Hey cool, I remember the avocado stage with our first! We went to the grocery store and got an avocado so we could compare. With our youngest, my mother-in-law nicknamed her ‘peanut’ after the first peanut picture, and has called her that ever since.

@ Stephen: I might have to stop by the store and pick up an avacado. What’s funny to me is that there seems to be much more than an avacado in there right now!
