My Wife Is 17 Weeks Pregnant

17_weeks_turnip_sm.jpg
Yep - the little guy is the size of a turnip. (Can you tell that I’m hoping it’s a little boy?) Not too much has changed since last weekother than the food reference. Can’t say that I’ve ever eaten a turnip…Thanks to Baby Center for the photo.

The wife is doing great. She can feel some movement but it is not very consistent. She told me that if she is not paying attention she could easily miss feeling the baby move. Her two favorite “cravings”?….pizza and doughnuts. You can’t really blame her. I’m not pregnant and I still want pizza and doughnuts!

A lot of guys out there are searching for some information about their pregnant wives or girlfriends. I wanted to share some of the search results that lead people to Building Camelot. Check these out:

  • “my wife is pregnant, help me” <-- Good luck budy!
  • “pregnant wife only wants to sit around ” <-- Dude, you'll never understand
  • “poem for my pregnant girlfriend” <-- Awwww...How sweet
  • “can i have sex with my 8 weeks pregnant ” <--Yes you can...but will she want to?

Thanks to Baby Center for these interesting points:

  • The baby weighs about 5 ounces (that’s not even half a pound!)
  • The baby is about 5″ long
  • His sense of hearing is developing
  • He can move his now hardening skeleton

Have I told you that I want a little boy? Next Tuesday is the big day! We have an ultrasound to see if it’s a boy or a girl! I can’t wait. I am hoping for a boy but as long as it is healthy I don’t really care.
