“Spotlight On Dads” Series At Discovering Dad

discovering_dad_logo.jpg Fellow dad blogger Jeremy Neal of Discovering Dad has started a great series of interviews called Spotlight On Dads.

The first dad in the series is James Austin - owner and author of Luke, I Am Your Father. I was lucky enough to be the second in the series. You can check out my interview here.

To give you an idea what the Spotlight On Dad series is all about, check out what Jeremy wrote when he announced the series:

Television and the media continue to portray us as parenting idiots, and I just don’t see it that way. The Spotlight on Dads series will provide a different perspective.

I want to thank Jeremy for including me in this great series. I feel like I’m part of the dad blogging world now!

To keep up with all of the great interviews, make sure to check out and bookmark Discovering Dad. Better yet, subscribe to Jeremy’s RSS feed and you’ll never miss out on any of his great articles.

  1. Glad to have you help kick off the series Tyler! Other dads (or moms who know other dads) can also nominate people for the series as well. Just drop me a line or leave a comment. For now, the only stipulation is that the dad has a blog or website of some kind, even if it is part of a community like cre8Buzz or MySpace or whatever. Thanks for spreading the word too Tyler! Talk to you soon. -Jeremy @ Discovering Dad

  2. Tyler - I am so encouraged so hear others bringing up the point about the standard portrayal of dad in most media these days, and how wrong it is. Commercials are big on this: dads are presented as clueless bunglers at best. Kudos to you and the others who get the word out that there the ranks of involved and intelligent fathers out there is growing every day.
