The 108th U.S. Open [Wikipedia article]starts June 12th and I want to share something will all of my readers. As a past client of GolfTec, I’m given “inside access” to the Majors Of Golf online magazine. The first issue I received was right before the Masters and the latest issue is for the 2008 U.S. Open.
The South course at Torrey Pines is the host for the 2008 U.S. Open and it should be a good one for the record books. Torrey Pines is located just North of San Diego right on the Pacific Ocean.
The online magazine is 68 pages full of information for the U.S. Open. Here are a few of the feature articles in this issue:
“Hail Hispana” highlights big-time golf’s growing Latin beat
“Anticipate a Give-‘Em Hell Debut” – Rees Jones’ Torrey Pines revamp suggests no softening of Open challenge
“Swing Analysis of the 2007 Winner Angel Cabrera”
“Winning Shots” by Martin Hall and hours of inside-the-ropes reading
If you like golf you’ve got to check it out. I’m a huge U.S. Open fan since it’s one of the truest tests of golf today and it is always entertaining to watch. The Masters Of Golf magazine is well put together, loads pretty fast and provides a wealth of information. Hope you like it.
The South Course at Torrey Pines is sure to test the best in golf. I’m looking forward to the tournament. Also, the final round is on Sunday - Father’s Day!
Ohh very cool! I will definately have to check it out. Thanks for letting us know about it!
