It’s been a while since I last posted about pictures of life with kids – you can also call it parenting behind the scenes – so I wanted to share some fairly recent pictures of my life with the girls. These pictures represent my life with two beautiful and challenging little girls while providing a glimpse into our hectic, daily life.
The idea behind this project came from the thought that it’s easy to share pictures of our children like you normally would (i.e. “Here’s a picture of little Jimmy at his birthday party” or, “Here’s little Mary playing at the par”) but what about capturing life with kids from a more personal point of view? The challenge of this project is to capture everything and anything that relates to your life with children without photographing the faces of your children.

Interested in joining the project?
It’s very simple really…all you have to do is look around at all the things you have in your life that are there because of your children and snap some pictures. Post them to your blog and link to Building Camelot (to help spread the word) and so others can stop by and read about the challenge. By linking here I’ll also be able to keep track of who is participating and link back to you in future posts so others can come check out your pictures.
I encourage you to take part in this photography challenge – it will force you to look at your life with children in a new way and will give you something personal and unique to blog about. It might also help you look a things in a new perspective when you photograph even the smallest little things and post them for all to see.
Other than no pictures of faces, there aren’t any rules if you want to participate in the project. One picture? That’s awesome. Five pictures? Whatever you want! And don’t worry about posting them with any frequency – there’s no rule that states once you participate, that you must post pictures every week. You can do it once…once a month…whenever you want really! The most important thing is that you participate and help spread the word.
