Weekly Rountable: She’s Walking Edition

by Tyler Wainright on July 12, 2009

weekly rountable grunge post

This past week our youngest daughter figured out how to walk. Luckily I was there with camera in hand and was able to capture some of her first steps on camera. Since she has started walking she’s knocked her noggin a few times hence the hazard sign above – it seemed fitting for this post.

I apologize about the video quality…something happened during the upload to Vimeo so some of the frames get a little pixelated. Anyway, you get the point.

  • OM
That's cool. She looks very happy. Congratulations.

Just wanted to let you know I wrote a short post about the blog, because that's what I do, I suppose.

  • Thanks OM - I'll be sure to head over and check it out very soon.
  • You are so lucky to have been there with the camera and tape it all.
I hardly have any pictures of me as a little child, and those are black and white.
I always said I would document my child's life in detail. I have everything I need to do it. I'm waiting for the child now :)
  • Hey Rene - Yea, my folks don't have many pictures of me growing up especially since I was the second child! We have so many pictures it's almost too much to deal with. I need to come up with a better system so I don't lose track of everything.
  • Congrats on the walking. I am ready for our boy to get there. On a side note, she walks like me on Friday nights.
  • Someone on Twitter said something very similar. She said "she walks like college kids leaving a bar". It's funny that you guys thought the same thing.
