Building Camelot was inspired by the book 4 Pillars of a Man’s Heart written by Stu Weber. In the book, Stu uses Camelot almost as a benchmark that men should strive to create in their own homes and hearts. His words really moved me and the more and more I thought about them, I felt encouraged to start a blog about how I plan on building my own Camelot and help others do the same.
Building Camelot is about creating happiness, prosperity, safety and a long lasting legacy in your home and family. Growing up, I was fascinated with castles, knights, kings and magicians. What little boy wasn’t? Little did I know that some years later, I’d be given the opportunity to build my own little Camelot — I have a wonderful wife and a beautiful daughter — a great start for a modern day Camelot.
Building Camelot won’t be easy…and it shouldn’t be. Nothing good comes easy and to make it worse, I know nothing about construction and I have a lot to learn. Yes - I have been blessed with a wonderful family, a roof over my head and a great job, but that’s only the start. To be the man that I have been called to be will take time, effort, prayer and humbleness.

I’m glad to see someone else is as fascinated with Camelot and knights as I am.
I wrote several posts about how I wish I were a knight. Good times.
Your site looks great, by the way.
